                                       (the most valuable piece of art I own.  Original frame and all)   I'm going to start this post by first explaining where all of this came from.  Maybe you can relate and maybe you'll have no idea what I'm talking about.  But I'm writing this because I feel like a really good part of life has been replaced by something that doesn't offer anything close to it's original.  So please enjoy this one and take a moment to ask yourself the honest question; am I really getting the best value in today's photography market or have a I been duped into believing a lie and forfeiting the BEST?    So I ask you to come back with me to about 1990.  Imagine if you will, 9 year old me with a camera (disposable flash bulbs on top) and a roll ...

I've had these words on my mind for the past few days and I hope that I can express them as deeply as I feel them. When the news came that school would be suspended for the rest of this year, my heart sank, my gut felt sick and my eyes welled with tears.  I felt such disappointment; not so much for my kindergartner or my 2nd grader,  but for anyone who is in a transition year right now.  To the 5th graders, 8th graders and High School Seniors, my heart aches for you.  There were experiences you were waiting for, things you were so much anticipating and now those things will not be happening and for that I am so sorry.  I wanted you to have them!  I wanted them to be part of your story.  20 years from now I wanted you to look back and smile because you remember how fantastic these days were. But here's the thing..I don't want you to get stuck here.  Getting stuck in disappointment will rob you of so much more than this loss every will....

You know... I have been REEEEALLY really good about this whole Shelter in Place stuff.  I accepted the severity of the situation early on, I quickly came up with a game plan for my family (keeping in mind how I ideally would like to end this ordeal), I grieved for my business, my clients, and my brand new studio and then carried on.  For the most part, I have kept it together with some good old fashioned prayer and LOTS of laughter.  I am a firm believer that those who can keep on laughing can thrive through some pretty tough stuff. So to wake up this morning and see THIS going on in my backyard...on APRIL 17th, was like a gift from GOD!  How can you seriously not just be delusionally laughing at this point?  This is like...comic gold. I knew I had to do something fun to share with the world (who needs a serious dose of laughter these days if I do say so myself).  But what would it be?  My options were endless!  Should I throw on a bathing...

Who doesn't like some good ol' fashion fun?  Here at Caudle Photography we take turning ONE very seriously.  I've said it before and I'll say it again...It's kind of a BIG DEAL!  We play, we smile, we dance, we smash cake, and then we splash the mess away! This little guy right here is one of my Grow With Me clients.  I've actually been photographing him since he was .....here Beautiful momma, right? A year has come and gone way too fast but I do love that I got to be there for all the milestones.  I caught him crawling, sitting, rolling over and I get to celebrate his Birthday with him.  It really is a pretty fantastic adventure! This little guy rocked his Newborn Mini Session.  He slept straight through all the dressing and wrapping and repositioning.  The only time he protested was when I tried to move his hands.  He wanted 100% control, so we let him have it.  :) Visit My Website LIKE Me on Facebook FOLLOW Me on Instagram

These two were FANTASTIC!  The connection they share with each other and their baby completely shined through in their session.  Momma was  little apprehensive about photos, mainly because she really didn't know what her "style" was.  But after their consult I could sense they would do best with a more Lifestyle Maternity session than a formal portrait sessions.  Just a few posing pointers along the way and these two were naturals!
